About the Director/Outreach specialist
Ja'Mayha Johnson, born in Charlottesville Virginia is an African American transgender woman living her true life. Growing up there was no one really to look to that look like me or was feeling the way that I was feeling inside but one thing I can say my mother was always there encouraging me just to be a productive citizen or society always do what's right and to take up for myself.
One thing I can always say my sister and mother, has always been there to support me no matter what the situation came. I could always just be me this is dedicated to them. Thanks, Ruth Williams (mom), Theresa Williams (sister)
Also, my best friend for 30 years Danita Bass and to my two nieces, Sanora ans Sadaja Williams amd My two Goddaughters, Lasha and Malaysia Campbell. I love you guys more than you could and will ever imagine.
If I can just help one person to succeed and not trace the obstacles and downfalls that I did that's all that matters
People sometimes ask me if I can describe myself with one word what would the word be.
